In Spiddrelli, Garnet is looking through the security tapes to try and find out what took place the night before when he comes across something unusual in the tape. The narrative then switches from point-and-click panels to the video screen, where the reader can click the “play” button to go frame by frame to see the inconsistency.

It makes sense for the narrative to move from the dialogue to the video screen, which continues to unify the story and make it even more realistic to the reader. In a print comic the reader can’t click through and view a video tape, but it is something that can be recreated with a webcomic.

Another time in Spiddrelli, Den is clueing the "new recruits" in as to what Century is all about. She begins with introductions and then begins playing a video. The webcomic goes from the point and click panels to a video, that discusses Century with the watchers. This also ties in the unity from the change in media. It's all there for a purpose and is set up in a very specific way to engage the reader.
